“Great location, friendly accommodating reception staff, room size, comfy bed. · Cons: The smell in Room 101 was strong. We had to open the window. I pulled the drain plug on the shower to see if it was clean and it was totally clogged with hair. Shower water pressure was very poor.”

“Bad mattress, big comfy room otherwise”

The location was perfect, the room was big and spacious. We did check in online and could open the doors from our phone-that was a great touch! We also got a key card and both methods were very convenient. room had an air conditioner which was well needed in the Salamanca summer heat. Also they had a fridge and bottled water that we didn't expect but really needed!

To be improved

The matrices were just terrible. In mine I could feel the bed springs and they made a noise every time I moved. Just awful, I slept badly... The beds were curved in tHe middle.. it's a shame because a reasonable sleep is the only thing needed from a hotel! If it wasn't for the mattresses I would have given it at least a 9

“Perfect location and extra nice staff.”

The best

Hard to beat the location, a stones throw from the plaza mayor and old town. The guy on reception (embarrassingly I did not get his name) was so friendly and knowledgeable - even called a restaurant to book my meal and check that my little dog was welcome. Salamanca is atmospheric and lively - so beautiful.

To be improved

I feel a fraud even mentioning it but the pillow was hard - dont let it put you off this super value for money hotel.
