Very clean and comfortable. Great location not far from the ferry port. Shops are nearby to cater for all your needs. Staff are lovely and so helpful. The breakfast was nice had a good selection of food and catered for gluten free which was included with the room.

The welcome was not warm but just perfunctory. In the morning, there was no one at reception. When I rang the bell and someone finally did arrive, there were no niceties, e.g. how did you sleep? Having just come from a different hotel, the contrast was stark! Breakfast was ok, no warm food though and the fruit was overripe, the nectarine I picked up, even had a trace of mould! There were lots of sweets, but not much savoury choice. The coffee wasn't great. And finally the location! If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, this is not the place for you. The hotel is on a busy road, which kept me awake for most of the night. (I needed to keep the windows open because of the otherwise unbearable heat). I think it was greatly overpriced for what it is. I won't come back here.
