Hotel Moixeró

We made a reservation 6 months ago through Bookings.com, now just days before our arrival they have decided they don't have a room for us. All of our touring plans were based around a stop here. It has cost a lot of time and money finding an alternative that looks good but not where we wanted to be. I have emailed in both Spanish and English for a reason but been totally ignored. Dreadful attitude and service, not the way to run a business?

My family and I had dinner there a few days ago. Really good quality of the food and home cooking style And also a good quality-to-price ratio. Excellent personal treatment by both Gabi, the director of the hotel and all the staff. We will definitely repeat the experience!!!

Stayed here twice on a motorbike trip to northern Spain, once on the way out and then on the way back. Just over the boarder into Spain, easy to find, good food, comfortable rooms and 10% off for motorbikers. There is off road parking but it is not secure, although is behind a high hedge. Evening meal was three courses, with a choice, included coffee and a bottle of wine all for €17 each. Good food well cooked. Proprietor and staff spoke English, were very helpful.

We stayed here for two nights over NYE. Pyrenes is a really popular spot for end of year vacation and the hotel seemed occupied with big family groups. We had a room on the first floor and realized (regrettably) soon after that it was impossible to sleep in this hotel - there was ZERO sound-proofing. Throughout the night (and day) we could hear constant footsteps from upstairs and from the corridor outside our room, screams and loud chatter of children (and adults), door-slamming... In short, we only had a 2-6am window of peace and ended up not having much sleep for both nights. Our room afforded no views despite being in beautiful Pyrenes, and the beds were too springy to be comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to write home about though we did at least had some yoghurt and toast. Such a pity, because the surroundings of the hotel were hauntingly beautiful with the Pyrenes landscape. Will not return.

I stayed at the hotel when visiting a friend in Alp. The hotel is clean, warm and the service was very good for the price we paid. It is in easy reach of Alp and very near to lots of amazing walking areas.
