“Good value”
Good value and very clean hotel. Sometimes people forget what they have paid when writing reviews. Some basic self caterering properties are more expensive than HB at this hotel. The hotel is very clean in all areas, its definitly not a "looker" from the outside but once inside it is fine. The rooms are spacious with loads of hanging space, air con has always worked well on all of our visits. Free fridge and safe in the room so bare that in mind when comparing prices with other hotels, bring a kettle if you want a hot drink in the room. We first came here before the rooms were upgraded and have been back several times as it's a good value, clean hotel in a great location. There is an incline up to the hotel but it's really not that bad, anyone with mobility issues might srtuggle. Lovely grassed sunbathing areas with beds that are not rammed together, two pools, one with activities in high season. Great transport links, the train station is just at the rear of hotel, no problems with noise levels, buses stop a short walk away. Transport is cheap and sometimes free on buses in early and late season. This hotel is at the quiter end of Fuengirola, there are still shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk away, on the promenade. The beaches are clean with gorgeous sand, Carvajel beach is beautiful and a flat walk away once on the promenade. The food is variable( in our opinion), we had a couple of nights that were poor during our last 14 night stay, some nights it was far better than others. It's not the worst food we have had and its not the best. We have had far worse food in two other 4 star hotels in Fuengirola. We always find lunch better than the evening meal, you can change from evening meal to lunch with no notice on any day, this is a great plus. Going back in 2026, because of the value, cleanliness, great air con and lawned areas for sunbathing. It is a typical Spanish style hotel, with Spanish decor, still uses white table cloths in the restaurant. We would rate it a good 3 star plus, but with excellent cleaning standards. All inclusive is usually cheaper when booked with the holiday package. We have always found the staff helpful and polite.
“Total relaxation.”
We stayed here for 3 days to celebrate my other half's birthday. 1st day arriving, the weather was terrible with rain and lightning 🌩 but this didnt damper the spirit of the staff. They went full on with halloween Dec's and made all the kids/guests get into the spirit. The rooms were spotless clean and the smell of the fresh laundry was so refreshing. Food was very nice but they didnt have pizzas which was abit disappointing hence why I am giving it 4 stars. I cannot find much faults with this hotel. Location is brilliant as its next door to a train station..the beach is a short walk down the hill. I need to mention the walk back up the hill can be tough for elderly/people with buggys. Would I stay here again....yes 100%.
“It is good but can be better.”
Position is good: near beach, near light train station, near supermarket. Food is ok: large variety, in generally tasty, but repetitive. I would loved to be surprised by good food but... no chance. Service was so-so. I had smalls problem with staff like: I paid for a glass of wine but in one night I do not receive it, I had to ask two time to receive clean towels. A lot of noise outside the hotel!! I liked that the room is big, the elevator work, the hot water was available. My impression is that the hotel was for old people, so if are over 50 years you will be like home in that hotel. If you are 25, go on other place.
“Two Weeks of Sun”
I have just returned from a two week, all inclusive holiday with five members of family. On our second week, another six friends joined us as we were celebrating my Dad’s 80th Birthday. This was my first time to try all inclusive. I did not know what to expect food wise, nor drinks. I expected I would want to go out and about quite a bit… But there was no need! How wrong was I? Food was excellent! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was varied, tasty, and a big variety of food from different countries. You could never get bored of whatever was being served. There is something for everyone. Staff were professional, cheerful and very hard working. Pool bar snacks were very tasty too. Drinks were much better than I expected. San Miguel, cava and wine went down very well with our group. Plus a new fave ‘Sarango’, and good cocktails too. Again, staff at the pool bar and main bar worked very very hard to keep all guests happy. And always with a smile on their faces. The entertainment lady was lovely too, I enjoyed the daily water aerobics and some of the evening shows were very good. We also enjoyed sitting out on the terrace of an evening, if we didn’t fancy watching a show. Hotel looks very traditional, but nothing wrong with that. The public areas are spotless. The rooms are perfect and cleaned daily. Again, these cleaners deserve a medal for their hard work. Location is ideal. A stone throw from the beach, and next door to the train station, which we used at ease on three occasions. Loved the pools. The top one is a bit of fun, the bottom one is quieter and tranquil. Plus, there is a very big grassed area with beds. Never short of a bed as you have so many options. I cannot think of any downsides for our holiday. There were 11 of us, and everyone said they would definitely return if they were to holiday in this area again. Well done to everyone 👏🏼💐 We did eat out on a couple of occasions as we wanted something special for Dad’s Birthday. Can highly recommend Cassa Rustica in Fuengirola and Pizzeria Primavera in Los Boliches. Also, there some lovely walks in the surrounding areas. We will return again at some point 😊
“Fantastic holiday in a great hotel”
Third time we’ve stayed here. We love this Hotel. Big rooms with loads of wardrobe space, including a safe, Fridge and hairdryer. The balcony’s are quite private the way they are set out. One of the best things is all the outside sunbathing space . 2 pools and another separate grass area. It was mid September so not high season but we never struggled to get a space. The food is absolutely fine. Loads of choice and it was always good quality. We were half board but sometimes ate out at night. The hotel is a 45 min walk to the centre of Fuengirola but the train station, that runs every 20 mins is directly outside. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff but they all seemed good. I had requested a top floor room which they provided us with. I’ve no doubt we will stay here again.
