Hotel Montesol Benidorm

supposed to be the first and most important point of contact for guests. The way they talk to and treat customers is shameful. They clearly have no training, no sense of service, and absolutely no professionalism. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Just read all the negative comments about them and you will see that I’m not the only one saying this. The guys at the reception are simply savage and extremely unpleasant. I had another booking with them that I canceled immediately. They don't just deserve. During my stay, I booked with the breakfast that I never went to take because these guys just disgusted me!

Really nice hotel but the food not good, its always cold, it is mainly spanish clientele but I didn't mind that at all, great position not far from beach a nice helpful guy on reception, but the lady not so. No pool there though. Free wine with dinner and drinks are really reasonable ok for short break

Arrived Thursday 5th March 2026 Good points Good location and room cleaned Bad points Breakfast Awful and cold,one toasing machine. Very noisy we were in room 110 singer on from 9 am until 12 it was like he was in our room. Then alarm went off 2am for 20 mins couldn't find reception team at first when finally spoke to him he said just go back to bed. View from room looked onto all the air con units which were very noisy. Avoid this room at all costs we couldn't wait to get home

The Hotel is well located just far enough away from the promenade in the heart of the Old Town in a quieter location. The hotel has a business like atmosphere with sharp design and a modern feel. The rooms are very clean, modern and fully equipped. They would be improved with tea/coffee available in the room. However the prices are unbeatable. This was our second trip and we have already booked for the summer. There is a nice bar and great Spanish entertainment most nights. As the only non Spanish guests we were made to feel welcome and joined in with the dancing every night. One final and important mention are the very helpful and friendly staff. The bar staff in particular were very attentive and generous with the drinks. Fabulous prices for this modern hotel.

I was looking forward to staying but staff were most unhelpful. The receptionist kept her head down, barely looking at me during check in and appeared to speak little to no English. No sense of helpfulness or customer service. I overheard how they spoke to other English speakers wanting to check in, offering no help whatsoever. Seems they do don't want money from the UK.

This is our second time staying here for a winter break. This time we had booked a room with terrace. The rooms are comfortable, good pressure on the shower. We had booked the option with breakfast. As on our previous stay, there was plenty of choice. Hot food could be 'hotter', but there is a microwave, so no complaint. The only negative this tine is that our room was on the 1st floor. During the evening there is entertainment from 10pm until approximately midnight. The sound carries right up the stairs, making the first floor rooms with terraces noisy. Not ideal if you have to be up for an early flight home. That said, we would definitely return. Good location, mainly Spanish clientele, which is what you would expect when holidaying in Spain.
