“Cheap, cheerful and good for one night stay!”

The staff were friendly ! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower was hot.Pet friendly place that didn’t add an additional surcharge. Good location just off the motorway.

To be improved

The bathrooms could use a bit of TLC as they were pretty worn down but you get what you pay for !

“Nothing · Cons: We arrived at the hotel on a motorcycle at about 16.00. The hotel was closed doors locked. It was 36 degrees. After looking about a miserable lady turned up and ushered us away and would not let us in. I pushed through the door and through translation with my phone told them we had a reservation with Booking.com. He said the hotel was closed but phoned another hotel and told us to go there. I could not contact Booking.com so we left and eventually found the other hotel called Hotel Patilla where we had to pay extra. When we get back I will take this further with Booking.com as I want a refund for this absolutely abysmal situation. Please avoid this hotel.. Also can anyone advise how to get to speak to anyone at Booking. Com. Even though we did not stay I am giving the hotel negative marks for everything.”

The whole description by booking.com does not match the reality today. I have stayed here in the past. This was totally different. Booking.com needs to review this hotel . The bath is rusty as are the taps. No plug in the bathroom wash bowl. The electric sockets and switches by the beds were falling out of the wall. The TV did not work manually or with the remote control. On arrival the hotel was closed. The bar eventually acknowledged our booking on a faded scrap of paper. Of note is that many hotels in this area are closed , so be sure your booking is with an open facility.

It was a quirky motel and the room was clean! Good food in the restaurant

To be improved

The rooms need updating, the TV was poor, internet didn’t work and the electric kept tripping. The really bad bit was the noise from adjoining and upstairs rooms that continued until 7am, so we only ended up with a few hours sleep! 😖
