Staff were described as very friendly and attentive.
Excellent location, ideal for exploring the city.
Rooms were clean and spacious, but the decor was noted as old.
Generally good value, but some guests felt it could be better for the price.
Overall a good experience with a few improvement areas.
Rooms were spacious but had issues with comfort and noise.
“One night stay on road trip in Spain, central to the city with excellent cafes- restaurants.Excellent friendly staff”
Staff go out of their way to help you and up to date with all information that we asked about. Very old Spanish building with some rooms have iron balconies.
“Lovely but spoiled”
We love this hotel and have stayed 3 times before but last night we couldn’t sleep as the heat was stifling. At this time of year, aircon is essential in the rooms. We highly recommend that the hotel adds this facility as the lack of it really spoiled our stay. The location is great, the staff are wonderful, breakfast is good and as I said before, we love the hotel. One small thing needed to make a massive difference
“We love to stay in quirky places”
What a gem of a place. Built on 1909 refurbishment has been done with safety and comfort in mind. The original radiators and door fittings as well as stained glass windows, claw feet chests, vanity writing tables in the foyer. Excellent staff very proud of the preservation of as much of the original building and fitments in use over 100 years on. Excellent location for the cathedral and monuments. Watched the women’s European finals in the main Plaza. Never seen so many sad Spanish nationals in one place.

“Beautiful restored hotel in the centre”
Built in 1809 lots of the original features have been carefully maintained. Stained glass, wooden floors. Marble stair case, desks light fittings tastefully restored. Perfect for visiting the Cathedral, castillo, easy walk to all the museums, close to plazas filled with cafes and restaurants.
