Hotel Ocean House Costa del Sol, Affiliated by Meliá

Our stay at the hotel ocean house was excellent. The location was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. Fernando in the premium check in area went above and beyond for us throughout our whole stay and helped us with anything we needed. He is an asset to the hotel and we can’t wait to come back soon!

This was not the typical Melia hotel standard we were expecting. It is a much lower standard than the usual Melia. Location is great, right on the beach and close to the restaurants and short walk to the harbour. The staff are great especially in guest relations - Alejandro is particularly helpful in sorting out any issues we had and friendly member of the guest experience. We had a family room however the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable for the kids. The pools were not heated in April and were freezing cold so the kids did not get to enjoy the pool at all.

I was part of a large family trip with my own suite. We booked this hotel thinking it was a higher grade MELIÁ hotel and was disappointed to find out it was the lowest tier. My suite was badly cleaned and had terrible stains on the floor and furniture. However, Alejandro the Guest Experience Relations, completely turned around my experience. He did everything to ensure I had a comfortable stay by moving me to a much nicer room and added a gesture for the initial bad experience. He was on hand throughout my trip, checking that I was happy and comfortable. I want to thank Alejandro for making mine and my families trip so great.

Brilliant hotel, location, food and service. Loved the Premium experience and the adult only pool area. The food was faultless. We took half board. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner was fantastic as well. 5 stars to the staff and service. Everyone is so polite, accommodating and kind. Location is great too. Just next to the beach and the promenade.

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Daniel in premier check in was helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We stayed in a Premier Suite on the 5th floor which had fantastic views, and was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Every member of staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional, and the service throughout our stay was absolutely fantastic. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and it really made the experience special. The breakfast was great loads to choose from. The location is perfect — right on the coast next to the marina with everything you need on the doorstep and lovely walks. We got outstanding service from all the staff that I decided to extend the stay for 2 more days thanks to Joaquin in premier reception who organized the same room and make it all hassle free. The girls in reception all so great. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thank you so much I will be back

Visited this hotel with my 12 year old daughter. I’ve stayed before about 8 years ago with friends and loved it then, so booked here as I know the area wanted some familiarity as travelling alone with my daughter on our first trip abroad together. Feeling safe was my priority and this hotel didn’t fault. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, safe but fun environment and stunning pool area. We went B&B so we could go out and explore some local cuisine and again we felt safe and relaxed throughout our whole 6 day stay. Went into Torremolinos town on Good Friday and watched the Semana Santa celebrations which were fabulous to experience. Lots of great restaurants in Benalmadena and beach restaurants all along the front promenade which were great for lunch. Nice clean room with stunning views on 9th floor, great selection at breakfast and good entertainment. Highly recommended, we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. P.S Brilliant policy around the pool which doesn’t allow people to reserve sunbeds or leave sunbeds unattended all day - well done!
