When a crucial service like wifi isn't provided (as promised on website), and this service is needed for articles I'm doing on cycling in Portugal and Spain, I get mad - especially when reception and management blow me off when trying to get information on WiFi. I also did speed tests, and even if a valid access code has been provided, the service as is was worthless. I don't like being, for lack of a better term, jerked around by hotel staff with an attitude. Out of 50+ stays, this hotel was a first for me. Fortunately, I can pass this information to others with my pieces. There is another hotel practically next door that I moved to that had a bit more integrity and provided the services promised in a nicer setting with staff that had good people skills.

“136 klm’s from Morgade - obviously not the Morgade we were looking for😡”

We didn’t stay-we were looking for a night in Morgade and were redirected here as no properties were left in Morgade, Booking.com said it was 3.2klms away from Morgade, when it is infact 136 Klm’s away !

“Nice family-run hotel, modern rooms”
The best

Nice family running the hotel. The old lady speaks a little German. Room interior is new and with taste.

To be improved

Not specific for the hotel but for Spain in general: Dinner was not served before 9 pm and the Spanish, well, like it hearty.
