“Short break”

The best

The personnel were all lovely. The property has lots of character and we loved all the old stone work, the gardens and seating areas outside.

To be improved

The bathroom was a little dated but perfectly funcionable. The bar was very minimalist only serving bottled beer or full bottles of wine, no spirits.

“Disappointing”

Good size room * see below. Interesting property. Nice garden. Female receptionist was very pleasant and certainly tried to help where possible. Friendly nearby bar/ restaurant- no English spoken so beware. Not a criticism but just note. Good value food and very willing.

To be improved

It is a shame because this hotel has such potential with a little maintenance and attention to detail. No hand basin plug. Plug to bath broken off chain. Two single beds located on a strange frame to make a double bed. No AC. Slight struggle to get a fan organised and temperatures were high 30’s No coffee facilities in the room or even hotel unless receptionist was free. Awful breakfasts. Juice tasted like weak orange squash. Coffee was terrible. Choice was extremely limited and poor quality. No savoury choice such as cheeses or meats. Rather stale bread and croissants. Pool needs maintenance. Had to point out filters were not working so water was getting dirty. I took control of using the net to clear leaves and insects from the surface. Bottom drain missing the cover. Only one nearby cafe/ restaurant so choice limited if you do not want to drive. No on site parking which is a public car park nearby. The most expensive hotel of our trip ( all others had been four star minimum) and the most disappointing.

“Lovely building. Good value for money”

Lovely building and gardens. Our room was very big, 3 windows and 2 balconies, a nice surprise we weren't expecting. We also swam in the pool we weren't expecting to be there.

To be improved

It was noisy as our stay coincided with a local fiesta and the neighbouring sala and park was noisy.

Great period house with lovely garden and small pool area. Good breakfast, the room was good and clean. Over all good value.

To be improved

A twin bed room was offered and booked, only after I booked and paid was I notified that a twin bed room was not possible. This is bad practice, both from the manager and booking. com. and not the first time I experienced this.
