“Excellent camino stay”
The best

Lovely rooms and staff. Comfy beds, bathroom with a shower and a bath. Excellent dinner and we loved that we could just get a coffee and cake before setting off on our camino as we cannot manage a full breakfast. The swimming pool was a delight to ease our aching legs. Would stay again.

We felt very comfortable during our stay. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was spectacular.

To be improved

We were staying on the top floor, and the sloped roof made the room less comfortable than we would have liked - but everything else was perfect.

“Beautiful place with secure bike storage.”
The best

The hotel is beautiful, a stunning old building. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden, with a balcony and a large bathroom with a bath. The garden and pool looked lovely, although it was too cold for us to make any use of them! We were travelling by bicycle, and the hotel offered secure bike storage inside an outbuilding. The hotel staff were very friendly and offered recommendations and encouraged us to use the communal areas of the hotel - we did, met other guests and had an enjoyable evening. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was nice and provided good fuel for an active day.

To be improved

By the nature of the old building, the soundproofing between rooms is not fantastic.
