To be improved
I booked this hotel last-minute out of necessity, but I deeply regret it. My experience was not only disappointing, it was alarming.
First of all, the location is wrongly marked on Google Maps. I arrived late at night, alone, and my GPS led me through dangerous, unpaved roads. These roads caused damage to my rental car, and I was genuinely scared for my safety. After driving in circles for over an hour, I had to ask police officers to help me find the hotel. Seeing my frustration, they kindly escorted me at the hotel.
When I finally arrived:
• There was no available parking, and the receptionist advised me to leave my car ten minutes away on foot, at night, in a remote area I didn’t know.
• The room was dirty, with hair in the bathroom from a previous guest.
• The Wi-Fi was extremely poor, which made it impossible to work, as I had intended.
• The property overall did not match the description or photos on the booking platform.
The next morning, when after a lot of back and forth, the Front Office Manager accepted to talk to me, I calmly asked to pay only for the first night and modify the reservation, explaining how unsafe and uncomfortable I felt. Despite being polite and respectful, I was threatened with police involvement if I didn’t pay for both nights immediately.
As a travel agent, I’ve booked hundreds of hotels, and I’ve never encountered such hostility and lack of basic hospitality. I paid and left the hotel immediately, never using the second night I paid, and later sent the hotel an email explaining everything and requesting a partial refund, but they never even replied.
This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise others to stay away. The safety risks, cleanliness issues, and the staff’s unprofessional handling of the situation are simply unacceptable.
