The hotel itself is nice and the pool area is pleasant — those are the only positive points I can mention.

Extremely disappointed with our stay at what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. We stayed at Paxton Barcelona for two nights during a business trip, checking in on Sunday. After a long and exhausting Monday, we came back to the room around 10 PM only to realize it hadn’t been cleaned — bed unmade, no housekeeping at all. When we reported this at reception, no solution was offered. Just a simple “sorry, it was a mistake” followed by “cleaning staff leave at 5 PM.” No one offered to make the bed, change rooms, or do anything to fix the situation. Unacceptable. The problems didn’t stop there. * Wi-Fi in the room was terrible, making it almost impossible to work — a major issue during a business trip. * One of the two elevators was broken during our entire stay, which led to long waiting times and added frustration. This is nowhere near the level of service you’d expect from a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. The lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was shocking. Would not return. Would not recommend.
