No staff available, elevator broken, no wifi, smelled musty…

Some very noisy people staying One room had the smell of smoke from another guest

We received a message, probably automated, saying we would receive a link through WhatsApp with check in instructions. We never received a message. We arrived shortly after 15:00, check in time. The hotel is not staffed. I sent a message to the hotel through booking.com, called the hotel at the number listed on booking.com, which was not correct, called the phone number posted on the door and left a message, and sent a WhatsApp message to the phone number on the door. I finally received a call from the hotel representative and explained as best I could in Spanish, that we had not received the check in instructions. The staff person said he would come in 10 minutes, which he did. He checked us in and gave us the keys to the front door and our room. The room was comfortable, but one bedside lamp did not work and the other bedside lamp outlet didn't work. I had to unplug the tv to use that outlet to charge my phone. It was cold at night and we couldn't figure out how to turn the radiators on. There is no designated hotel parking, but there is some parking in plaza mayor right in front of the hotel or on the street on the other side of the river.

Almost everything else. The beds were uncomfortable and small. Despite there clear preference for a twin room we were give a small double on the top floor. The free Wi-Fi didn’t exist the shower in the bathroom flooded the floor and the furniture was falling apart overall it was crap
