“Fabulous stay at Hotel Playa de Maron”

The best

The staff were exceptionally friendly. We arrived early and they were very helpful in getting our room ready for us before checkin. The location is excellent, 5 minute stroll to the beach. They offer parking which you really need when busy as there are cars and camper vans parked in all public spaces. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Its a beautiful walk over the bridge into the old town of San Vincente de le Baquera. Room was lovely and spacious for a family of 4. Good value for money on a very busy weekend.

To be improved

We loved it all but if you are looking for something fancy this is not the place to stay.

It was quite noisy inside. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything. The food wasn’t as good: never have the paella.

“Overall staff were friendly and the breakfast was really reasonably priced. Location is great for the beach. · Cons: We had booked two double rooms. One was a twin and we were told they were fully booked and given a shrug of the shoulders which was disappointing. Looks like they are renovating the rooms little by little. The double room was nice but the twin room had lumpy beds and some holes in the walls from previous fixtures. One of the bathrooms flooded repeatedly making it impossible for two people to have a shower one after the other. It's a beach hotel, you don't expect luxury but the price charged is scandalous for the quality of the fittings.”
