“Retro vibe”

This hotel feels more like a home than a hotel.It feels like you are in a hotel that is still in the 1960's..very retro,from the fittings to the furniture the whole vibe was retro.Teresa,the owner is a lovely and warm lady,always responsive and trying to help. I believe,many of the locals come here for their summer break,next to the beach. We found this place,quaint,the host,lovely,the beach nearby beautiful,useful to have a private car park and an aircon as well in the room..all in all an unusual but wonderful stay.They also have a beautiful 120year old tree in their patio giving our room shade.Nice.

To be improved

Perhaps the tv could have an English channel.

Near a beach. Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean.

To be improved

Dated decoration, with some tired fittings.... Windows would not stay open, toilet would not flush properly. Located in a poorer part of town with unfortunate drain smells in the street. Over all, we stayed in much nicer accommodation for less money during our Camino walk.

Loved the location on Playa Samil Vigo Away from downtown Staff was lovely n helpful family Grocery store with in a block n multiple restaurants with in a few blocks Small breakfast at hotel in beautiful sunroom On gorgeous garden grounds with nice lawn chairs and tables to enjoy sitting out with large covered area to stay out of sun or rain Room was clean nice updated bath, fridge, TV, a/c, reading lights and light blocking window shades, and very comfortable bed.

To be improved

I had hurt my knee walking on the Camino and had to find a nice place in Vigo to enjoy while I recovered on my own. Found sitting in a hotel with no yard not enjoyable. So, Hotel Playa Samil Vigo with its beautiful yard was a perfect choice.
