The best

Public areas of hotel were nice - modern decor and comfortable. Pool area and rooftop bar very attractively furnished. Rooms were clean but dated - chips and scuffs on furnishings, chipped toilet seat, no amenities in room apart from shampoo and shower gel - and 2 free cartons of water . Corridors were basic, did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel.

The bedrooms are showing their age .. the net curtain in our room was torn and did not close properly. The air conditioning was also inconsistent .. The beds are hard with thin mattresses .. covered in cheap, plastic mattress protectors .. which means that one is always hot and transpiring in the night .. which is hardly conducive to a good night's sleep I hope that now that Pierres et Vacances have bought the hotel, that a rapid programme of improvements can be started to redecorate and refurnish the bed-rooms .. and also perhaps improve the window insulation against street noise ..
