“Best Customer Service on Camino”
The best

We did a 40+ km leg on the Camino de Santiago and they waited for us to check in and had three beers when we arrived. They gave us the restaurant that serves very late - thankfully because Google has the hours wrong. That is customer service! Unfortunately, we were in and out.

“Lovely historic hotel.”
The best

Hotel Portico is a lovely historic building close to the centre of Fonsagrada. Our host met us with a bowl of fresh cherries as we checked in. We had a bright, airy, spacious room and bathroom with lovely antique furniture. The breakfast buffet the next morning had a good range of foods to eat.

The WiFi signal in our room was a little weak.

“Beautiful hotel directly on the Camino. · Cons: Expensive for a Camino stay, it was very hot when we were there and there was no air-conditioning or fan so hard to sleep. Breakfast was included but only a small plastic wrapped croissant - had much better breakfast selections in albergues which were far less expensive. We were there on a Sunday with few options to buy food so I would have liked a good breakfast before walking.”
