Hotel Porto Calpe

Great location , we spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the to and fro of the harbour. Worth paying the extra for the harbour view . The staff were great in all areas very friendly at attentive . Excellent breakfast choice catered for all nationalities even 4 different types of coffee on offer . Restaurants all within easy walking . We had a faulty fridge and it was changed within minutes of asking . Would I go back? In a heartbeat .

Recently returned, Myself and my partner and couldn't fault it at all. We're regular visitors to the area but never stayed in a hotel in Calpe and we weren't disappointed. Great friendly staff, showed us our allocated room and the room we could upgrade to for a small cost if we wanted too which we greatly accepted which was 503. Great views, great location. We've already been looking to see how soon we can come back but with the children. The only downside to this is we'd need two rooms as they only accommodate for 3 guests. Clean and spacious rooms and bathroom. This won't be our last visit.

We normally stay at the Sol y mar which is amazing don’t get me wrong but Hotel Porto although much more basic - is what we wanted. It was perfect. It was clean, the staff were more than helpful. You were greeted with a smile. Nothing was an issue we were offered several rooms as it was not full. They asked what view would like. It is in the middle of both beaches. Handy for every thing. We will be returning most likely in May. Absolute bargain. We were room only.

We booked at the very last minute while on a cycling trip. The hotel responded really quickly and were incredibly helpful in letting us store our bikes overnight. The room was clean and great value for money. The view from breakfast was great and there were nice places for dinner nearby. Staff were very warm and friendly - thank you!

Nice clean basic Hotel with breakfast included, which was good, the air conditioning did not work or the heating (it was really hot when we arrived mid afternoon), and my main gripe was no kettle in the room, I had brought Tea, Coffee etc and would have found milk locally or got some from the Breakfast area. Anyway, other than that and noisy people staying above us, it was really nice, would not come back to Calpe as pretty as it was...just not my vibe!!
