“Great stay, perfect location and wonderful staff in lovely Baeza”

The best

We liked everything about this hotel. We stay here every year en route from north to south Spain and we love it. There is parking below the hotel and the staff are really helpful getting in to the parking area - you do need to book. The rooms are lovely, the atmosphere of the hotel is great and we love the pool in the summer . This year we ate outside by the pool - the food was wonderful - you do need to book for that too. This trip we went with my son, his wife, their two-year-old and a baby - they had the suite and it was perfect for them. We love Baeza and this hotel makes our stay perfect - it’s perfectly located for visiting the historic centre.

To be improved

There’s nothing that we don’t like - that’s why we keep going back! 😄😄

“Superb”

The best

A beautiful hotel perfectly situated in the heart of the old town and close to the cathedral. Friendly helpful staff; very comfortable rooms; nice pool in the central courtyard; and excellent restaurant (see separate review for Acebuche restaurante). One word of warning. The parking is conveniently located behind and under the hotel; but there are only eight or nine places and they are not all easily accessible. So it might be worth calling the hotel reception in advance to be sure you can get in. Very happy to highly recommend the hotel. Very very good value: 250 euro for a suite for 2 nights including breakfast (early July).

To be improved

One small gripe is that there are only 8 sun beds around the swimming pool and people are hovering like vultures to grab one when free. I’m sure the management doesn’t want to spoil the aesthetically attractive courtyard by having too many sun beds, but they could manage a few more!

Location and beautiful old mansion building. Nice pool area Breakfast included in our booking was excellent. Better than I’d expected

To be improved

Our triple room was sold to us on Booking as having a terrace yet first room offered was an attic with skylights and no accessible view. The next room we accepted because it had a very very tiny Juliette balcony but it was comfortable We arrived at 3pm and wanted to use the pool which was very pleasant but what hotel closes its bar in the afternoon with guests at the pool looking for refreshments? This was very disappointing
