Hotel Reina Cristina

They lie about their availability, claiming to be full, so as to turn away children, in spite of their policy on reservation websites claiming that they accept children of any age. An appalling way to treat the public if you're feeling generous, false advertising if you're feeling less generous. I'm not convinced they deserve much custom or loyalty if this is their stance.

The hotel was autentic andalucian style and the rooms were nice and clean. Good and traditional breakfast in the café next to the hotel - very nice! Everyone from the staff was very nice and welcoming! Some only spoke Spanish so communication was a little difficult sometimes, but we made it work, and I was able to practice my Spanish - so it was an amazing stay at the hotel!

Our stay at the Cristina was pleasant. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the location is ideal. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet on the second day and would like to highlight the kindness of Gisèle at the restaurant, as well as her male colleague (giving great gluten free suggestions) , and the very friendly afternoon receptionist. Restaurant was very good btw ! Please note however that there is no private parking at the hotel as originally stated on their website, parking is actually in a public car park nearby. You will need to pay the parking fees directly and not through the hotel (and make sure they don’t charge you twice—we had to ask to avoid being double charged, as they didn’t pay much attention). Unfortunately, the morning receptionist was neither welcoming nor friendly. From check-in to check-out, we felt like we were disturbing him - not a single smile. This left a very poor impression of the property. That said, it remains a charming hotel, although it feels slightly overpriced for the overall standard and quality.

Interesting old mansion with atmospheric lobby. Room large and pleasant with large comfortable twin beds. 10% discount for guests at the adjoining restaurant which was okay. though long wait for service and food. in the heat - they didn't run not he fans outside until we asked twice.

Location is very central, the receptionist excellent very helpful speaks great english
