“Standard 4 star. Disappointing breakfast. Car parking short distance away. LOVE TERUEL”

Good 4 star hotel. Car parking a short distance from the hotel (19.50 per day). Lovely rooms - standard for 4 star, I guess. Disappointing breakfast, and one member of staff on reception was a bit lazy, in just sending us the main square for restaurants - the main square was unpleasant and touristy. We found our own great restaurants, plus one that the tourist officer rec. Fantastic time in Teruel - lovely spanish town with awesome architecture.

“Location, near the centre of the historic town and train station. · Cons: The hotel feels dated and somewhat uncared for. On arriving, the lift smelt of cigarettes as did our room. Cigarette buts stuck in the lift door rails remained there during our stay. The room was ok in that the beds were comfortable but stains down the door, broken lampshade and a small tv were both crooked on the wall. No safe key, and nothing in the room or info given at reception to explain that you must deposit 5 euros with reception to obtain one , plastic cups for your instant coffee, nothing in minibar except water. Some sort of smoke detector flashes a red light over the bed and air con very noisy. The worst is the bathroom which was designed by a half wit and has also seen better days. Almost imposible to get into the bath /shower due to the folding screen that opens inwards and difficult to adjust temperature on shower head without getting scalded, one must get in first and shower head has no thermostatic setting to restrict to safe temperature. Getting out of the bath is dangerous as its via the sloped end due to the screen. Not suitable for anyone less than agile. Altogther a disapointing hotel compared to any other of the many 4 star hotels we have stayed in, in Spain.”

Ideal position to be able to see Teruel. Property was very clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Had everything needed for a short stay.
