“It was ok but not giving you the wish to come back. If you stay here, insist on pool and Mountain View to avoid the stre”

Clean, comfortable bedding, nice pool area, good shower, total decoration, garden, nice person taking care of a pool, the size of a pool. Pets accepted.

Our reservation stated Mountain View but we were given a street one, so at 7.30 in the morning I was awakened by the noise of garbage collectors. Pretty tiring after our long road. The evening before I asked the stuff to give us the mountain/pool view, he said it’s possible only if we pay extra for a higher class room. Also, there with no bath in our room as promised, only the shower. I was also a bit disappointed by the breakfast, lots of sweet stuff, no vegetables, crispy bacon but no fried eggs, only cold overbooked once. Strange for the place with a reputable restaurant. The waiter didn’t smile once. Coffee was very mediocre, strange for Catalonian usual standards. Dogs are accepted, extra charge of 15 euro (in France we pay 6, in the hotel next village we were no charges). So, many things to improve here.

“Excellent”
The best

This is a wonderful hotel. What makes it so special is the family who have owned it for four generations and for whom nothing is too much trouble. The staff are superb and the hotel has an excellent restaurant. It also has historic associations with World War 2 refugees which make it particularly interesting.

“Great hotel”
The best

The hotel room was in good condition, clean, staff was really friendly, and there was the best bed in my life, so it was a great pleasure to stay here!

To be improved

The only disappoint was that we arrive at Sunday and this day spa and restaurant was closed, so we couldn't visit it. And for me breakfast was not perfect, the food was tasty, but not diversity.
