“Canero totally exceeded expectations! It’s a quiet little spot on the Camino, but my stay was very, very good — peaceful, clean, and exactly what my body (and feet!) needed. The accommodation was super comfortable, the hosts were kind, and the whole experience just felt easy and recharging. Sometimes the smaller towns surprise you the most, and this was definitely one of those gems. Would happily stay here again!”

Canero totally exceeded expectations! It’s a quiet little spot on the Camino, but my stay was very, very good — peaceful, clean, and exactly what my body (and feet!) needed. The accommodation was super comfortable, the hosts were kind, and the whole experience just felt easy and recharging. Sometimes the smaller towns surprise you the most, and this was definitely one of those gems. Would happily stay here again!

Nicely situated in the Camino route. Comfortable single room with good facilities. Restaurant on site. Safe space for my bicycle. Helpful staff; restaurant on site.

This was a convenient stop off on the Camino.

We reserved a room on Booking.com, when we arrived they said it was more than the reserved price. We had no choice and had to pay. We ate at the bar, after our food and drinks, we were told cash only. We didn't have enough cash and the guy at the bar got angry, shouted and berated us for several minutes and then continued to talk about us to his local customers. Eventually he let us pay by card using the same card reader they had taken our excessive room payment. We then watched as they tried to short change another customer at the bar. There was no drinking tap water available, you had to purchase a bottle. The room was stuffy, but if you opened the window there were many mosquitoes and the noise from the traffic on the main highway above the hotel was very loud. I can not recommend you stay here, it is too expensive, very unfriendly and money grabbing.
