“This is where we started our Camino and I'm glad we did!”
The best

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, with a wonderful view of the water. It is true that every room has a view of the water! The hotel is 2-3 miles north of Oia. It is a comfortable walk to go to Oia and experience that community. The hotel is on the Camino Portuguese, which is helpful. Besides having its own restaurant, it is close to several other eateries.

To be improved

The staircase from the reception area to the first floor is off-white and would be difficult for someone who has low-vision or a problem with depth perception, because the edges of the steps can be hard to see.

The best

An old fashioned hotel within easy driving distance to Biaona. Nice cafeteria on site which was convenient for a light lunch. Rooms were clean and we had a sea view which was lovely. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The pool looked lovely but it was not warm enough to go for a dip.

The best

Definitely the young lady Lauda on Reception / waitress duties. What a tremendous asset to the hotel. Room was good, hotel is well appointed, dinner was great.
