Very dark, mattresses tired and uncomfortable, breakfast not really worth having to be honest! Card machine not working on checkout which caused some issues and with no English spoken it was difficult to navigate but got there in the end!

BEWARE Booking.com descriptions and reviews! This hotel was chosen for convenient location and as it had restaurant. Had recently stayed in an alternative ( and much cheaper) hotel 3km along road which was excellent but didn’t serve breakfasts so decided not to use on this occasion. Hotel was shut up when we arrived at same time as other guests. Eventually found owners who showed us to our rooms. Rooms dark, cold with draughty leaking windows. “Heated rooms” are only heated if boiler turned on! Froze all night! Was waiting for dinner but couldn’t find owners and bar+ restaurant locked. Eventually “messaged” through Booking.com and finally phoned them. Apologies that the restaurant was not open but there was another one close by which we should use. It was also closed. In desperation drove back to our previous hotel where we warmed up and had a great meal ( abstaining from alcohol!). Very tempted to book in there for a warm night rather than driving back to freeze! Breakfast the next morning was a slice of previous day’s stale bread and a bit of cake - not the wonderful local catering as described in reviews! When checking out, no card reader available so was required to pay in cash - fortunately had enough to cover it.
