Hotel Ría Mar

Lovely service and lovely town! I believe the best part it is the location, you are near the mountain, the beach and the turistic areas. It is also really convenient for families as the town is really safe and family oriented. I would repeat the experience.

Staff was nice

Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and bathroom is big and very clean also.

Breakfast was good; parking was convenient and the room was airy.

It's a great place to relax and enjoy with a good breakfast and pool to relax and read a book. The neighborhood is calm and near to all access points that we need, such as, supermarket, gas station, restaurants, and cool beaches around which only takes 10 min by car to reach. Overall the experience is great and the relation price/quality is good.

Visited this hotel and stayed for 6 nights in June as member of a Galician bus tour. The tour company had driven down the prices well below those found in Booking.com but the quality was not lessened by that. The hotel staff were excellent and friendly. The room (325) though unremarkable was large, very clean and fully en suite. No balcony in this room but it really did not matter. The small box TV as old to say the least and would be better upgraded - but who needs TV when the surrounding area is lovely. Bed was large and comfortable. Thin walls and tiled corridors can make it noisy depending on other guests but it was OK. There is no W-Fi -pity about that, and there was no water in the otherwise nice swimming pool but maybe a little early in the season. Food was bland for my taste - very basic continental breakfast, Mostly two course midday and evening meal - meat or fish, and salad. All buffet style with wine or water. For the price we paid this was very good but as a full paying customer I would be a little bit disappointed. Evening disco was provided in the basement but catered almost wholly for Spanish pop traditional music primarily for pensioners. Nice to see though and most enjoyed it. Not loud enough to disturb sleeping guests and finishes at midnight. No brochures in the reception for surrounding tourist spots. Hotel has free car park and local bus service seems fine - not used. Overall a pleasant budget hotel
