Hotel Ritual Sireno Torremolinos - Adults Only

Nice hotel. Located in the center, close to a supermarket and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. The room has a refrigerator, a kettle, a cup, and a spoon. A very good idea from the hotel. The hotel has a gym and a terrace with a swimming pool on the roof. I will come here again.

An excellent, budget to mid-price hotel, located right in the centre of Torremolinos. This hotel is not perfect, but considering the price compared to other hotels, it deserves a top rating. It’s important to say that some rooms appear to have been renovated and are preferable to those that haven’t been. The non-renovated rooms are still decent and I’m unsure how you ensure you book a renovated room, but I moved to one after I arrived. The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable, with bathrooms having excellent showers. Hair dryers and irons are available from reception. Even the renovated rooms do need some maintenance (e.g. re-painting in parts, floor repairs) and this is the case throughout the hotel, but overall the hotel still feels modern and stylish. There is a lovely communal living area overlooking the main street, which is a lovely place to spend some time. The top-floor pool area is a great space too, with a bar and restaurant. The gym is small but fine and Wi-Fi is excellent throughout the hotel. I found all the staff, including those on reception, house-keeping and in the restaurant, super friendly and they really helped to make my stay more enjoyable. My main criticism is the breakfast, which really is below average and needs improving. Having spent a few days there, I saw the same food being placed out day after day. Some food had clearly gone past its best, some food had went off, and some cheese had grown mould(!), it was very off-putting. The cooked-to-order egg choice is good, but otherwise I would not recommend paying for the breakfast unless it’s already included. This hotel is “Ritual friendly”, meaning guests can make use of the pool and spa facilities at the Ritual hotel a 10min walk away - it’s the main ‘gay hotel’ in Torremolinos. The Sireno hotel feels somewhere between a gay hotel, and also not one. So no matter your preference, you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable. Finally, the location is just perfect for exploring central Torremolinos. You can walk to the beach in less than 15mins and everything else is much closer. I would strongly recommend this hotel, especially when the prices are attractive. Highly recommended!

Nice room with fridge, kettle etc, Really comfy beds. Excellent breakfast, hot and cold food. Lovely pool/bar area. Not many sunbeds though. Theres a nice water feature, but this takes up space where more beds could be placed. Hotel has recently been renovated. Staff very friendly. The only slight problem we found is the bath/shower is too high and is very difficult to climb in and out of. Otherwise great hotel

Very dissapointed in my stay here! My single room was on the 1st floor. My room had no natural light, because there was no balcony & the only window in the room backed onto the fire escape - Which staff & guests used at will despite being told not to. The room itself was weird, the entrance to the bathroom was so narrow that unless you are skinny you would need to walk in sideways to fit through it! The shower had no shower curtain or any screen to stop the water, so using it meant the rest of the bathroom got wet! There was only 1 hook for towels & a hairdryer wasn't provided. Hardly 3*!! Every other room has a balcony, so clearly if you are travelling alone they don't care about you. Some staff were very friendly others were just plain rude including 1 female receptionist who really needs to go to back to customer service school! On the last day some other friends staying in the hotel had paid for a late check out so I went to reception to ask for a towel. I was rudely told 'No because you have been taking drinks from outside to the rooftop despite being told not to' No one had spoken to me in the entire 8 night stay, there had not been any issue & yet somehow I'm now being shouted at and refused a towel?? Seriously? I argued back for a while & then decided to go ask another member of staff for one. Ridiculous behaviour from her & reading some of the other reviews it's clearly the same person! The rooftop was lovely, although there aren't many sunloungers. I had breakfast included & that was decent however on my last day l, I bit into a pastry only to find mould on the inside of it. When I showed it to the lady in the kitchen her response was to laugh!! Another lady did come over and offer me a few others pastries about 30 mins later but by that point I wasn't hungry & I felt it was really unacceptable to laugh at something so serious. The good bits like decent air con, comfy beds & pillows did not make up for the rest especially considering the price. Yes it's in a great location but I've paid a lot less to stay in other 3☆ hotels & I definitely wouldn't come back here.

This hotel has a good location. We appreciated the access to Hotel Ritual. Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the ac was cold. The only thing requiring attention is the clarity of the pool water. The staff was super friendly, including the chef. We would stay here again.

Exceptionally friendly clean hotel catering for adults only for a basic 3* hotel was very impressed. We stayed off season so there was limited entertainment but they have a sister hotel which was more lively. Breakfasts were pleasant though the same each day. Would stay again
