Hotel Riu Nere

Great central location in Vielha but not noisy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Modern style comfortable rooms with all you could need. Good breakfast choice. Recommend for all types of visitors, families, solo and adults. I will definitely come back again

Small bedroom with a double bed, although it was fine for 1 person, for 2 it would have been too small. Room was warm and well sound proofed. Maybe a bottle of water could be offered in the room. Also shampoo for the bathroom, only shower/bath gel provided. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is situated by the River and in the centre of Viehla, making it very easy to visit the town centre. Staff very welcoming. Would certainly recommend the hotel and would stay there again if I had an oppurtunity.

This hotel is right in the middle of Vielha and is a lovely place to stay. The covid procedures were explained very carefully on our arrival and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were very comfortable as were the beds. The whole hotel was smart and had a lovely atmosphere. Perfect base for staying in Vielha. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Best hotel we have stayed in in Vielha.

Basically you cannot get a better location in Vielha as far as proximity to everything, including amazing restaurants than this hotel. Our room was spacious, the beds and pillows were great but the walls were very thin. We heard the gentleman snoring in the next room and we jolted out of bed with bathroom activities of the same room. The staff was kind but there was a cleaning snafoo. It could of happened anywhere, but I awoke to some poop like smear next to my head, was too tired, did not pull the covers that far back the night before, and I was laughed at when I told reception. I know there was a language barrier, and some miscommunication happened, but there was only an apology for the miscommunication and then the "here is your bill, pay it in full," left me with a sour taste. I will be back to Vielha for sure, just not the this hotel.

First trip to Vielha in the summer months - lovely. Hotel is central, clean and on a street with less traffic than the main road. Room was clean and good size, overlooking small alley at back. Note - no aircon, so may be a bit warm if you get unexpectedly hot weather like we did. Breakfast was fine - decent mix of food. Breakfast/ restaurant room is a bit dark - wood panels make it a bit old fashioned, but it’s perfectly clean. We tried a few of the local bars for Tapas and pintxos - you can pick what you want from a selection on the counter - not expensive. You can get a beer or glass of wine for 2 - 2.50euros. Bar Xatu just up road from hotel had v good selection. Lots of summer activities nearby, we went walking from Beret ski area to Montgarri- a nice 12km loop. There’s a bar/restaurant at Montgarri or a nice stream to picnic by.

We arrived in the town of VIELHA as part of a jeep tour in the Pyrenees The town is charming and beautiful The hotel is very pleasant Rooms are large and clean The hotel has a restaurant. We had an excellent dinner there. We enjoyed every moment Too bad we had to leave in the morning I was prepared to stay in this town and this hotel for a few more days maybe in the future
