“Location was ideal, however a very uncomfortably hot stay.”
The best

The location was very convenient, very close to the city centre and very easy to walk to all the main sites. Food and bars were all close by. Nice area.

To be improved

Every day of the stay was over 35°C and the AC barely worked. In fact it was off at night. I don’t understand how in this heat the AC was something that was not working which is the main thing needed to make the stay comfortable. It was very disappointing and was so difficult to sleep or be in the rooms at all. Also I got told to move rooms due to renovations and they moved me to an even smaller, cramped room, again where the AC barely worked, and you can’t even control a thermostat. It seems they regulate the temperature in the whole place and says it will always be set at a particular temperature but I don’t think they did that at all.

Room.was very smal, as was the bedl. Air con is centrally controlled and I was cold the 1st night until I asked them to turn it off Shower over the tiny bath was barely adequate. Bath towel was very small and I'm not a big person.

“Probably the best point of Hotel Riviera is its location. Basically in the city center, walking distance from the train station and in a quiet street. Nice receptionist. Simple, small and quiet room ideal for a short stay if you need to be in Córdoba for business or tourism.”

“Cons: 27 of may 2025, 38°C in Córdoba and the room was roasting hot! No fan or Aircon at night, told the receptionist and no solution was given as the ventilation system wasn't given out cold air, just "fan" mode....had to have 5 cold showers in middle of the night. Do not stay here in summer, you've been warned!”
