The best

Rural location with traditional/creative/artistic decor. Relaxed vibe combined with top class very individually styled facilities Welcoming hosts who offered to drive us to a restaurant if needed.

To be improved

Need to be mindful of restaurants openings , if you want a country stroll to your eating venue. We opted to walk on the road to the only open restaurant which was more a locals bar that served food. However, the bar staff were helpful and we had a nice meal. If motorcycling, need to be aware of gravelled back road and parking on a slope!

“Definitely recommended if you want somewhere unique to stay when you are around Riópar.”

Very beautiful place to stay and close to Riópar village. My husband and I were both amazed by design and character of Cortijo Puente Faco, and the hospitality by owners.

The best

Quirky and with fascinating decor, every corner was a photo opportunity. The room was good size, and bed comfortable. The views were fantastic from the lounge and the bedroom looking into beautiful nature. Luis was welcoming and provided us drinks from the bar. Ideal for hikers and those wanting to experience wildlife.

To be improved

The ensuite had a very unusual basin made of quarried stone which was difficult to use and wonder how easy it is to keep cleaned? There were drain smells, and unable to open windows as dogs in kennel next door barking. We thought breakfast was included in the booking, but had to pay extra as we had booked through Booking.com?
