“Outstanding venue staff food atmosphere”

The best

Spent 4 nights at this hotel on a riding holiday they own the stud / stables. Hotel outstanding re the rooms food total atmosphere. The staff I interacted with an absolute credit to the hotel . Hannna who checked me in an amazing professional the waiting staff attentive and unobtrusive.We were offered full board on a set menu with wine and water, which was excellent in quality and quantity of the fantastic food which was consistently good over the stay.The rooms were maintained to a high standard and kept meticulously clean.One minor negative the lunch provided by the beach restaurant on the riding holiday. The horses tack could definitely be renewed and updated/upgraded the horses try their very best for the rider and deserve better equipment.

“Quiet, relaxing stay - recommended”

The best

The room was amazing, clean and really well appointed. We had the suite with little private plunge pool as a treat but stayed before in the main building (standard room) and both were good. The staff including Andrés, Anna, Paulo and Carina were all unfailingly helpful, as were the staff in the restaurant and the cleaners, thank you all. We ate at the restaurant 3 nights out of the four that we stayed, the food is very good. You can walk to the nearby town which has a few eating options including Chic which was lovely. This is our second visit and won’t be our last!

To be improved

Nothing really. If I had to be picky the breakfast area seemed a bit cramped especially if you had a plate in one hand and wanted to get a coffee say - very little room to set your plate down en route.

“Cons: The bill at the end. It is obviously aimed at a certain income bracket.. all very tranquil and pretty and quiet… and the staff are all wonderful.Perfect for couples who just want to unwind. But the add ons quickly mount up. we just found it a very expensive two nights in the middle of nowhere..”

The pool area was beautiful, with lots of space. The location was very peaceful.

There could have been more selection at breakfast, however what was there was excellent.

The staff were really excellent, the hotel buildings, grounds and pool were beautiful and beautifully kept, and the rural setting lovely. The food was also excellent. The bathroom was lovely with a fantastic shower.

To be improved

One or two very small details, such as the plugs in the bathroom did not hold the water. The hotel prides itself on water conservation, so this should be an easy fix. We would also have liked a bit more cupboard space. Lunch was quite limited (appreciate it is a small hotel) and had to be taken outside. Similarly, a few more snack options would have been good.
