“Good value accommodation if a little quirky and basic. Friendly proprietor and good access to the centre and surroundin”
The best

Quirky place. friendly proprietor who was very helpful in recommending places to visit etc. easy 15 minute drive to the centre and close to other highlights such as Las Medulas. Nice cool accommodation due to being under canopy of trees, room basic but clean. Good WiFi.

The best

A member of staff was kind enough to cook us dinner on Sunday evening - from the freezer - we were the only guests. The Owner and staff were friendly and helpful.

To be improved

The whole place was very tired, old fashioned and worn. It was maybe fit for a children’s Activity centre which I believe it’s used for, but not for paying adults. The bed creaked all night, wifi didn’t work, the ceiling was black and falling apart in one corner with damp. But worse of all the shower which was an old square high sided bath was broken and water shot out all over the bathroom - and me!

“Quirky and different but a great stay”
The best

Bernard the owner was very attentive. The place is quirky and different which makes for a lovely stay. It is well situated for a visit to Ponferrada. Bernard is very knowledgeable of the town and the region - use his wealth of knowledge

The staff was very accommodating. They were willing to provide a dinner at six even though that was early for them

To be improved

Because of a festival in Ponferrada there was a shortage of accommodation so we ended up a little out of town
