Nicely furnished rooms, professional staff, very quiet and in an outstanding location.

To be improved

Lots of birds and insects on the north side -- didn't dare open the window. Fortunately the room had a fan, so we were able to sleep fine.

“Very photogenic place in the middle of the mountains.”

The best

Unique place nestling in the Pyrenees. I really enjoyed my stay here and hope to be back. Great hotel, service, staff, room and wifi, The Japanese themed restaurant was totally unexpected and the food was out of this world. My one regret is that I had to do some work so didn't get in the two hour walk that is available. (See map on bedroom wall).

“Beautiful apartment, incredible location and views.”

The best

An apartment on the top floor - huge balcony overlooking village to mountains. Beautiful view out the bedroom across the valley to hill top villages. Modern apartment and bathroom. Perfect for the three of us. Dinner in the restaurant - fabulous chef. Loved the generous breakfast.

To be improved

Just be aware apartment is top floor without lift. Otherwise everything perfect.

“Great place off the beaten path if you want something nice in the mountains in a small and cozy village. Smaller hotel, great views over the valley and friendly staff. · Cons: Thin walls so it depends a bit who is in the hotel with you. My first night started quite noisy due to some bigger party of other quests, 2nd night was quiet.”

“Great getaway in the mountains for nature loving people”

we were looking for a place away from the crowds in nature, and this was it. Apart from that, the restaurant is very interesting. They do very modern stuff but it was good nevertheless (combination catalan and japanese cuisine, try the truffles rice). the pets are free, which I think is very generous. the pets can even go into the restaurant since they don't want you to leave them alone in the room since they had some incidents and damages

To be improved

the only thing, if anything, is that I was made aware of the fact that I cannot park in front of the house (obviously, it is a small old village with narrow roads) only by mail, which I did not see. Parking is outside the village which was completely understandable to us. It would have been better to know this in advance but never mind. It is really not worth mentioning. A lot of people complained about cold nights in winter and it was not good for small children. This I would confirm. I did not see a good heating system, and for little children the place is boring and the other guests might dislike it too. We were there end of April and then the rooms were not cold at all
