Hotel rural La Campanona

People, food and value.

After a long motorbike ride we arrived at La Campanona. At first we were a bit doubtful because there was a boda (wedding party) going on with loud music and the parking is the same as the one of the restaurant. The young lady that amidst serving the boda made our check-in was very helpful and reassuring and made us feel welcomed. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious enough for the two of us, with a window that allow us to see the motorbike and the view, the main road did not disturb us even. The room does not have AC but in June we didn’t feel the need for it. The entire hotel is an extremely clean, welcoming space, making it perfect for a stay or a stop to eat or drink like several people did while we were there. The owners Ana and Rafa went over and above making us feel welcomed. They reassured us the party would end by the time we went to our room and so it was. We had a very nice dinner, generous portions, at the restaurant with Ana always checking if we needed anything more. The parking is just outside, it’s a safe and quiet place. Breakfast was good and Ana and Rafa were extremely nice. The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area. Would certainly return and recommend it!
