The best

Álvaro the owner is excellent and a fellow motorcyclist with lot of enthusiasm for his guests arriving on motorbikes. We loved the location of the hotel having access to excellent motorcycling routes - receiving great recommendations from Alvaro 👍 The chef was also very friendly and supplied portions for giants 😁 excellent service received! Thank you!

The best

The location. The restaurant (run separately) served good food.

To be improved

1. Having to make a phone call and then wait for 15 minutes for attendance at reception on arrival in the afternoon at our anticipated time of 3.30 pm. 2. Discovering that room price advertised at reception was lower than we paid through Booking.com even with genius discount. 3. Air con/heating not working. 4. Room advertised as having a terrace overlooking the pool - however the large pool was empty and looked to be in a poor condition - the small spa pool looked even worse - and the terrace "furniture" was broken. Not what we were expecting from our supposedly "superior" double room. 5. Bathroom with only one of three lightbulbs working and when requesting replacements only given one. 6. Returning to hotel at end of first day's sightseeing to find beds unmade and wet towels in bathroom. When we asked for clean towels we were told towels were expected to last two nights although there was no sign saying this and nowhere to hang towels so no way of allowing them to dry. We were eventually provided with some clean towels. 7. On the second day the manager(?) tried to repair the air con without success so wheeled in a wobbly electric radiator to compensate.
