“Traditional home stay in beautiful location - loved it!”
The best

Wonderful host, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and stunning location. La Montejo de la Vega is a small village with a few amenities that keep traditional Spanish hours (spar, bar & restaurant). Wonderful stay!

The best

This hotel was used for myself and colleague to stay whilst working in Aranda De Deuro. We were sold the property by the pool as we knew we would have some relaxing time and it was put to good use. The staff were amazing and although we didn’t speak Spanish that well they were very patient with us and managed to communicate well.

To be improved

Sometimes it wasn’t simple to find the hosts if we wanted a drink but otherwise they were very attentive.

“Having a pool was nice as we had another very hot day · Cons: No air conditioning and shower not great. Mattress and pillows were too hard. There was no restaurant in the village so we had to drive another 14km for a meal.”

Quiet location on outskirts of rural village. Friendly lady proprietor and good breakfast.

To be improved

Details referred to the hotel having a restaurant which wasn’t the case. A bar in the village provided very limited basic food. Nearest restaurant 20 minutes drive. It appeared that the place had seen better days.
