“Stay at winery”
The best

This small famiky ran hotel is located in the midst of the Ribera del Duero wine region. The family also runs the winery Bodega Sarmentero located in the same location. As special service the hotel can provide a lunch box with all kind of local cheeses and charcuterie. A bottle of wine makes the box complete

“Staff is super nice! Location is perfect. Cozy back yard. Besides all improvements needed we would recomend staying there. · Cons: Breakfast is OK. Shower needs basic ventilation, keeps wet and smells. Most important of all is that there is huge need of improvement in terms of cleaning of the room. When we came we found lots of long hair on the floor and backside of bathroom door. Balcony needs to be washed, we couldnt to go out. Bed was clean.”

“Charming rural retreat with exceptional hosts and wine”

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rural La Tejera. The hotel exudes warmth and charm, it is nicely decorated and the room was modern and comfortable. It provides a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh local ingredients, and the hosts' exceptional service and sympathy made our experience truly special. We highly recommend Hotel Rural La Tejera! Next time we are having a wine tasting!

“Lovely weekend stay at a family-run hotel and winery”
The best

We had a very nice weekend stay at this property! The weather was poor but that was no problem for us because the hotel was very comfortable and close to many wineries, which is where we spent most of our time. María, part of the family that runs the hotel and Sarmentero winery, took great care of us and provided excellent service. Even though the winery was closed that weekend due to a special event, she allowed us a tour and tasting on Sunday so that we could experience it. The wine was wonderful and we also tried one of their picnic baskets, which was so worth it! We don't have any complaints. The hotel was clean and modern with nice personal touches, the breakfast spread was fresh and tasty, and the service was top-notch. We couldn't recommend it more

To be improved

The only improvement I can think of is including a mini fridge in the rooms. We ordered a picnic basket our first night and were unable to finish it, so unfortunately the meat and dips were tossed, but we would've gladly saved them for later if it had been possible.
