Was expecting to give great review as I have with others and seen some great comments on the host . My experience was like her earlier reviews . Yes there was language barrier but she was very rude to me and not wanting to help or even try to answer my questions . Was not there when I tried to check in and was very hot outside after walking the Camino . It was more like an upstairs room in her house and I paid the most of any other accommodation. Could not open window due to flies everywhere although it was clean . She had guests over and was noisy . Not a hotel Rural but like an Airbnb room in her house . Worst stay of 30 on the Camino . Nothing in the town

“A delightful place”

The best

Dori was so helpful, kind and funny. She made several calls trying to find an accommodation for me for the following night. The place is clean, very well furnished and peaceful. I had a great rest that night and an after a lovely breakfast I felt ready for another day on the Camino. I would definitely stay again!

“Special Place, Owner Lady a Hoot”

The best

The owner, care-taker lady was great. A hoot, and gave me some great tips on the Camino. She always prefaced it by "...well, it's to up to you, but..." - and she was right. Good, simple Bfast.

To be improved

Small town, so don't expect a lot of food options, but you won't starve. If you want a lot of food choices, stay in Astorga. If you want a great place to get walking the Camino, stay here.
