Great rural location. Jose the host is exceptional, I wish all hotels were the same. He made 5 us the best meal we had on tour.

“Jose was very welcoming. The hotel has an inviting, cozy, homely feel about it. The rooms were traditionally furnished and comfortable. Jose prepared a good evening meal for us and we were able to relax in the lounge / dining area. Breakfast also very good. The hotel is in a very small, very quiet, village which suited us perfectly. A lovely rich diversity of birdsong greeted us in the morning. We were 3 males travelling on 3 motorbikes.There was room to park 3 right outside the hotel and Jose could have squeezed them inside the main gate, but there seemed to be no need as the area is so quiet. · Cons: Nothing.”

“Tranquil rural accommodation”
The best

Our host Jose was very pleasant, helpful and communicative. He prepared a fine dinner and breakfast, and makes an excellent cheesecake. The hotel was about 100m from the main road in a tranquil rural hamlet, with a small church and a couple of tracks into the countryside that you could walk out on.

To be improved

The bird in the roofspace above the ceiling. Jose warned us of this, but it seemed busy much of the night. Glad I had earplugs!
