“Super!”

The best

Beautiful location, very tranquil and surrounded by nature. We had one of the cabins and it was lovely to be able to relax on the porch outside or sometimes move the chairs onto the garden to take in some sun. Although the kitchen facilities were, not surprisingly, limited, they were adequate for making breakfasts, packed lunches and simple suppers. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

To be improved

A few more pegs for the washing lines please, and a kettle for us Brits :)

“The location and cabins here are a rare gem. Easily in the top 5 of any property where I've stayed.”

The best

Amazingly quiet. No roosters, no dogs, no traffic noises. Heaven. Friendly, warm, welcoming staff. Nice cabin. Everything works, adequate shelving in the bathroom (toilet is a bit close to the wall). Tons of pressure/volume in the shower. Bed is comfortable. Good sized fridge. Kitchen worked great for meal prep. Town has a cheese shop with other groceries available so stocking up prior to getting here was not an absolute requirement. Management would do customers a favor by pointing out that grocery stores in recommended stock-up town south are closed in the afternoon until 5:00pm. Would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely no WI-Fi in the cabin (that was explained and expected). Could get online in the common room in the main house (though it was terribly slow (5.9 Mbps down. less than 1 up)), but, again, this is all disclosed up-front, so not really a complaint, more a "Yep, their description is spot-on!" Need better foot mat at front door (you track in everything).

Self catering "bungalow" was an airless wooden chalet Minimal pans and plates provided. Unpleasant to eat outside owing to flies Unpleasant to eat inside because of stuffy heat Bathroom was tiny and shower was cramped No WiFi in chalet but was available in hotel

“Exceptional”

The best

During our entire stay in Spain, this hotel was absolutely the best. It's perfectly located 5 min walk from a little town with bars/restos but it's slightly remote. The view on the mountains was breathtaking. The hotel itself is decorated beautifully, it's very clean and comfortable. The hosts are the nicest people. Plus the swimming pool!!! We had an amazing stay and we will be back.
