“Great overnight stop from /to the ferries.”
The best

I love the peacefulness and tranquility of the location. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable. Always get a warm greeting from the ‘Madam’ and although neither of us spoke the others language, she has google translate “audio” off to a ‘T’. We both understood each other. Make sure you use the restaurant- food deeelish. A good size G & T as well.

It was my choice to stay there, having been before. Says it all.

“Very good, clean and medival looking facilities. We had a comfortable stay in this cozy hotel. The breakfast was delicious, they served typical food (cheese, ham, natural juice and coffee). There was a place to park our car. The staff was very friendly, we will definitely come back. · Cons: Everything was fine, nothing negative to point out.”

The best

Great place, next to park natural Hoces del Rio Riaza. Extremely calm village. Perfect for relax before & after hikes in the park. Nuria, the manager is paying lot of attention and showing great availability. Such a nice place in a relatively remote location

To be improved

I'd say nothing honestly. The parc Natural is quite close the Santa Cruz de la Salceda, that made this place perfect for our days doing bird (vulture) watching.

“What a 'find'.”
The best

An ideal overnight stop on the way back to the ferries or A good base for exploring, rather than staying in a town/city. Peaceful, quiet, staff more than willing to use 'translator' in order to understand. Friendly, homely, family hotel with ease of parking. Bonus . . . . . the restaurant. Really good food. Room / Bathroom . . . . . spacious and comfortable. Will certainly use again. Muchos Gracias
