“Liked a lot and would like to stay again”
We really liked the location and the host. The owner is a very nice woman, she takes care of every guest as if we were at her home🥰 Her scrambled eggs for breakfast are something incredible, seemingly simple, but so rich in flavor!
“Lovely Hosts in a quiet location”
Although the hosts Anna and Raul spoke very little English we did not have any communication problems because Anna was a wizard with Google Translate. They are such lovely hosts, they let us park right by their gate and Raul carried our luggage up to our room. Anna cooked specially for us, a lovely three course evening meal and Raul provided the drinks from their bar. The meal was superb, very tasty and better than the majority that we had eaten at restaurants on our travels. Anna has a great sense of humour and we thoroughly enjoyed our short one night stay.
it was all good
“Beautiful rural retreat with fabulous individual attention.”
The standout feature of this property was without doubt our hostess. She was the most amazingly kind and thoughtful individual and really made our stay very special. We chose this location for a relaxing start to a month-long tour of Spain by car. We could not have been happier with the location, the property or our wonderful host. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. She asked if we'd like to have some supper on our first evening. We hadn't planned to but did. Everything was prepared freshly and just for us. Throughout our visit we were made to feel more like family than hotel guests. During our stay Taranillas was in fiesta. Sometimes this can be pretty noisy, but the experience of spending time with locals, in the garden of the Hostal was priceless. Thank you so much.
Tough to find anything to fault here. Maybe they could've ended the village disco just a little earlier!!
“Nice room, friendly reception. · Cons: No connection with WIFI in room, only downstairs. Not possible to have breakfast before 08:30 😐”

“Home from home in delightful countryside.”
The hosts at this Hotel Rural made us feel part of the family from the home cooked meals to the advice they provided about things to do locally. The building is quaint and is surrounded by gardens in which guests can relax. The village is interesting in itself but also there are many walks which can be done from it. There is a bar in the village and more facilities are available in nearby Puente Almuhey.

“The staff were so helpful despite our lack of Spanish. As it's no longer summer season they weren't providing evening meals. However they rang the local bar and sorted meals for us which were fabulous including a great vegetarian option. Breakfast was 6 euros each and filling. The garden was lovely to sit in and e joy the late afternoon sun. · Cons: We liked it all but be aware it's in a lovely rural setting.”
