“Beautiful Location, pretty hotel”

The best

Really lovely hotel in an amazing location. Our room was adequate but the view across the valley was spectacular.

To be improved

When we arrived we were told that the restaurant had been fully booked out for a party so they couldn't offer us any food. We asked if we could bring back some food and eat outside in the courtyard and was told this wasn't allowed. we explained that we had been travelling all day and just wanted to eat. the receptionist did give us the name of some restaurants in the neighbouring village and town which we then had to drive to and get some food. not ideal.

“Pretty place”

The best

All good! Check in staff very nice. There is parking inside the hotel, not many spots but they were all available then I was there. Super quiet place! Room is equipped with a little kitchen.

To be improved

We have a cat also we had to paid a supplement of 20€. Room was a bit cold once the heating turned off, we were not able to turn it on again.

“Ok for one night on our way to. Barcelona but won’t rush back”

Nice building and looks like it was quite grand. Room and bed were comfortable

To be improved

Hotel felt quite isolated which was ok but would have been good to have somewhere to eat or at least get a drink. Accept it probably coming to end of season. Booked partly as it had a pool. Then found out day before that it closed on day we arrived. Restaurant also shut and neared places a drive away and limited and not very inviting. Town not particularly nice. Did however get recommendation for a pizza cafe that was ok. Bathroom cramped and would have been nice to have a kettle. Espresso breakfast seemed quite expensive in comparison to other places we stayed. Ok. It won’t rush back particularly in September. Disappointed by lack of view of monastery too

“Old and decayed apartment, but very nice swimming pool”

The best

Swimming pool, terrace and lobby of the hotel were nice. The beds in the apartment were good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

To be improved

Apartment was cramped, old and decayed, sofa was very settled out and filthy, kitchen had only a 2 burner electric hot plate to cook on, sleeping rooms had very little storage room. (But some apartments clearly were renovated and seemed to have a new kitchen, sofa etc. A pity we got the old mess.) The swimming pool had restricted opening hours (and we never understood why). Terrain very noisy with a lot of loud families and a lot of barking dogs in the surrounding apartments.
