“A pleasant out-of-town hotel on a lovely property”

The best

A relaxing property, a little out-of-town, on a pleasant extended property. Sitting on the patio, at the end of a long day cycling, with a beer (or three) and some agua con gas, was a lovely way to wind down into the evening. Strolling the lower (vineyard and horario) area of the property was a nice post-dinner repast. Dinner and breakfast were good.

To be improved

It's beyond an easy walk to the beach. That's not their fault ... more mine for not checking closely enough.

“Family. Parking. Music. Terrace with the sunset view.”

The best

A nice little hotel with friendly staff and live music (Saturday). Free parking. The room with the terrace and sea view is awesome. Nice beaches nearby (we had a car). Breakfast.

To be improved

Narrow entrance to the non-paved parking. Noise from the road. Blinds of the terrace windows were not working so there was natural light in the room early in the morning. Nothing that would stop us from returning here in the next years.

“Beautiful setting / The mid-season price with free breakfast / I would return again”

The location: beach, bars, town nearby, absolutely beautiful garden with chairs and cosy areas to hide out and enjoy the views everywhere, attic room with sea/garden view. Cool live music Saturday evening. The hotel's rustic ambient.

To be improved

1. Getting breakfast was a time consuming, every morning battle. On the first day, we arrived 30 minutes in and literally spent an hour trying to get breakfast and left almost hungry. The next mornings weren’t much better though we made sure to be first to get there. The friendly staff seemed overwhelmed and the little buffet was poorly situated, hence always crowded and hard to reach. 2. At our amazingly good room price and the overall ambient of the hotel and location, I didn’t mind too much the dated/inconvenient furniture in the room (it was lastly charming) and though I'm only 1.74 m, always having to stoop but still hit my head at least 4 times (ouch!) on the low bearing attic corridor and attic room ceilings (it became a running gag).

“Pleasent”

The best

The location and the views are great. There is a big garden with extensive space to chill. The room was big and with great view. The hotel was really clean and had very comfortable beds.

To be improved

The breakfast was poor, and the staff was kind but not very available. You may struggle to find someone to attend to you.

“Relaxing comfortable rústico hotel, a little bit out of town”

The best

This is a very pleasant hotel, out of town a little, offering a pleasant relaxing stay. Everything worked for me, and I was fine to bring my bike to the room. The grounds are very pleasant too, and made for a lovely after-dinner stroll.

To be improved

I'd been thinking of a beach swim as I cycled to the property, but it was a little too far for me to want to try and walk. That's nobody's fault and the fact that tha's the only thing I didn't like is, in itself, a positive statement about the property.
