Hotel SB Diagonal Zero 4 Sup

The assistant manager at the front desk was very unfriendly, we had booked 2 rooms and eventhough the hotel wasn’t fully booked she gave us rooms on the 3rd floor without ocean views and the second room was very dark and facing the back roof. We were in disbelief that we got such a horrible room. We went back downstairs and asked if we could have another room and she said no this the only room we have available and it’s the room you booked. If I give you another room I have to charge you an extra 10€ per night. My husband said this is very awkward we stayed at many hotels but this is a first where the person at the front desk is rude and loud on top of it all. So we asked for the manager after 15 minutes the manager came and asked politely, what can I do for you sir? My husband told him that the room we were given was not acceptable and in a matter of minutes he gave us a room on the 6th floor with ocean views. We were very grateful and thanked him.

We couldn’t swim in the pool because there were always the same men taking all the pool to themselves, and the pool is the main reason I booked the hotel because my daughter loves to swim. As a Muslim woman we couldn’t go in the pool with those men in and they refused to leave the pool till it’s time to close the pool.

Our whole floor was without power for a whole day of our stay. I need a refund

Honestly was just quite disappointed as £2300 is a lot to pay for a off-week in my opinion and the actual facilities were no more impressive than a low budget chain hotel. Our shower was a death trap and had horrible water pressure, the tv had none of the channels advertised on the information leaflet, and every time we entered the pool area there was no towels and no one around to ask for towels. Also the ice machine was broken all week despite mentioning it to staff, and often the drinks in the bar were unavailable despite being on the menu.

The hotel doesn’t have a huge amount of character but this was clear from booking and the pictures are accurate. It is all very clean and we would recommend!

Poorly maintained rooms. On arrival room was dirty - looks like the floor was not vacuumed. TV remote was gross with grime on it. AC did not work despite being on full blast. Room would consistently stay above 25 degrees after hours of continuous AC. On two occasions, the room card stopped working which meant I was locked out of the room- this took over 30 mins to resolve as reception is always busy. The final straw was on the last day. Reception reassured they reserved a taxi as per our request for early morning flight, however when we came down at the appropriate time as per reception they told us taxi had “waited a long time and had left”. (Bear in mind we actually came down 5 mins earlier than the time we were suppose to). In response reception said they can book another taxi but will be at a surplus!! What a scam! Thank god for apps like cabify which meant we got to airport on time.
