“An embarrassment”

The best

An awful, outdated room, overpriced, no safe unless you pay for the key, no kettle in the room, hangers in the cupboard would break in your hands and don't get me started on the soundproofing. Zero soundproofing, can't even sleep, you hear people from adjacent rooms and slamming doors. Location not good. Not today, thank you.

“Clean hotel. some bad points”

Good points: the hotel was clean and the two gentlemen on breakfast and the bar were friendly. the view from our ballroom was nice, sea view and castle view. the bed was huge and not two singles pushes together for once. nice and modern too. mini bar in room, mini bar is stocked and you do need to pay for the contents. powerful hairdryer. Breakfast was ok, hot food not so great, sausages looked a bit undercooked, scrambled egg completely tasteless and hash browns so dry. but the fried eggs were nice and runny when put out fresh. sweet treats had a good selection too. you could take coffees away in take away cups which was a nice touch. bad points: No kettle/ drink making facilities in room. Next rooms shower woke us up early in the morning. when rooms around yours has a shower it whistles and screeches and sounds like bagpipes! we thought our alarm was waking us up it was so loud!!! the toilet seat did not fit on the toilet properly so the lid never stayed up meaning anytime we had to use the toilet the lid would rest on our backs which isn’t very hygienic and comfortable. only one thin long pillow each, could be pretty uncomfortable. Location was ok, 20 min walk into the main part. there is a tram stop nearby but you may need to get 2 separate trams. its on a hill so walking back from the beach/ port etc is all uphill the entire way back which can be tiring

“Lovely short break in a great location”

The hotel has lovely staff and a lovely fresh smell as you walk in.Room lovely nice pool area and ideal for tram and shopping centre.Near to the beach too .Second visit .Breakfasts not as good as last visit oct 25

The best

Top! Close to the sea, close to the center, and close to Santa Barbara Castle. Excellent restaurant service and quick check-in and check-out at the reception. Large, nicely furnished, and clean room. The entire hotel is stylish and well-maintained. Plenty of breakfast options. Very satisfied. We will definitely return.
