“Good location in a small town. Good 'stopover' point b/w Seville & Lisbon.”
Stayed here for 1 night in late May as a convenient stopping point between Seville (Spain) and Setubal (Portugal). Room #6, 1st flr (can go up by stairs or lift). Te think it may have been a disability room as it was a very large room with a massive bathroom. There was an assistance rail at the toilet (but not at the shower over a bath which you need to step into). There were lots of power points all around the room and near bedheads. Has a 2 seater couch. Small table and 2 chairs. No tea/coffee making. No mini fridge. There is a flat screen TV for watching from the couch area. There is ample wardrobe space (heaps of it) and drawers for your gear. Does have air con but ours wasn't working. We tried everything and contacted reception who told us to do a couple of things which we had already done but tried again and it still didn't work. Reception wasn't much help after that and didn't send anyone to look at it so we had quite a hot room for sleeping (but we did get sleep). There is a bar and seating areas downstairs that has drinks and limited snacks. There is a lively pizza shop (think it was called Divan Pizza?) just around the corner where we had a very reasonably priced pizza.
Staff were minimal and we had to wait anytime we wanted to ask anything (this may have been a 'once-off' though due to staffing issues or some such). It is in a small town that doesn't have a lot of eating places and there is nothing in the room (they may have self catering rooms I'm unsure - ours wasn't), so getting a hot drink was challenging. And there is no mini fridge in the room to cool any drinks. Our room had lots of room for both to be easily installed and set up which would make a huge difference to the room.
“Passable”
Spacious
Air con not working in room. I left my driving license behind and they would not forward it without me arranging collection via a Spanish courier. Less hassle to get a new one when I got home. Poor breakfast
“Overall very good”
The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable
No breakfast option other than toast which was disappointing
“A well equipped hotel popular with locals serving traditional food . Spanish only spoken.”
“Make the location is OK for you.”
No a lot. It was a mistake. It was near a small bullring and opposite the church. Food was simple but ok. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed one.
Location. (My mistake I thought it was near El Rocio. It wasnt). Very hilly. Smelly/musty room. Restaurant was closed. We ate in the bar.
“Very good”
Todo bien.
