The best

Martin (I hope I got his name right) welcomed us and was amazing! He gave us fantastic recommendations and very friendly. He is a huge asset to the business. The room was perfectly clean and the maids would clean our room even after we left later in the day. They must have checked the floor again. Really great service. The pool was lovely.

To be improved

I went down to the bar to ask if someone could help me open a bottle of wine. The woman at the bar rolled her eyes and was clearly laboured by my simple question. I found that a little rude. The aircon in our room was a little faulty and made us quite sick. On the last night it didn’t really work. It’s also partially hanging off the wall.

“Great place to unwind at start of break in Menorca”

Really good welcome from Martin. Very helpful about practicalities of going in to Mahon as well as travelling to Ciutadella. Very understanding about jet lag. Had travelled from Canada via London (UK) all in one day so was very tired on arrival. Enjoyed swim in rooftop pool, then excellent dinner. Menu was in Catalan so I did not understand it but very friendly server sat down with me and showed me pictures on phone! Good breakfast. WiFi worked well and without fuss. Easy to leave baggage when I explored Mahon before travelling to Ciutadella

Nothing that I can think of. Was a great start to a few days on Menorca

“The location was fine not far from Mahon · Cons: The price is too high for the value of this stay, the neighborhood is quite nothing to do in neighborhood. The price with breakfast was around 130€ for one night while in old town of Mahon luxury place we found much cheaper inkl Breakfast. We stayed in different place in Menorca every night and Hotel Son vilar had the highest city tax rate too! Take this into consideration if ever back in Menorca definitely not gonna choose this one again! There are much better options around!”
