“A destination hotel for a quiet visit and tour of vineyards, and walks with good food and good value”

We had late canceled flights, so this was a stop off between Bilbao and Malaga, not planned but an excellent choice in the end (thanks Booking.com). I would say this hotel is eclectic. It has a special sort of décor, old but new but in a good way. Difficult to explain. The bathrooms were all modern and the room a good size. We ate at their restaurant in the evening and had their ‘special’ which was baby lamb and wine from their own vineyard, both excellent. If we had had more time, it would have been nice to stay longer as they have gardens and tours of the vineyard. It is a very small town and the center seems to be this hotel which had a lot of people staying.

Exceptional hotel, very friendly staff, although none of them spoke much English. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately the hotel is pretty remote, so if you want to see anything it is a pretty long drive in any direction.

A quirky place with everything related to wine. Loved the decor of the suite. Had a small separate cosy space with view over the vineyard. Big jacuzzi bath as well as large stand alone shower.
